Design Team

John Henle has worked in the offices of Paul Segal and Davis Brody Bond among others. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and is a registered architect in the State of New York and State of Vermont. John was previously a partner at GRAFTWORKS and continues to collaborate on projects.

Oscar Jobmann (emeritus) had over 50 years of experience as an architect, designer, and construction detailer. He had worked for Skidmore, Owings and Merrill and Davis Brody Bond among others. While at SOM he was responsible for developing the architectural details for the Beinecke Rare Book Library at Yale University. At DBB he oversaw all of the office’s construction details, field supervisions, and inspections. Recent GRAFTWORKS projects that Oscar had been involved with are the Mountain House and Highwood Square artists housing.

Balbina Cantu Garza will receive her Bachelor of Architecture degree from Pratt Institute in 2025. Balbina is currently assisting Lawrence Blough with the PennPraxis Case Studies in Design Award, “The Legacy of Walter Segal: Church Grove Community-Led Housing and Land Trust, London” (collaboration with Deborah Gans).

Julia Liu will receive her Bachelor of Architecture degree from Pratt Institute in 2025.
